Hi, I'm sophie!

I’m an outdoor photographer based in Nottinghamshire, originally from Lancashire.

My journey began in wildlife conservation, where I travelled extensively, capturing the natural world and its incredible inhabitants to raise awareness through my work. But along the way, I discovered my passion extended beyond wildlife—I fell in love with capturing people and places, always weaving nature’s beauty into my photography.
Travel has been a defining part of my life. From documenting rhino conservation in the South African bush to teaching in the Caribbean rainforest, and exploring the Canadian Rockies, photography has been my constant companion. Through my lens, I strive to bring the emotions of adventure—freedom, joy, and a touch of magic—into every image.
Authenticity is at the heart of my work. After years of capturing raw and powerful moments in conservation, I want my photos to feel real, as if you’re right there with me—immersed in the moment, the landscape, and the story.
I’m drawn to a natural, organic style, capturing genuine connections and spontaneous moments. And because nature is so important to me, I love working with clients who share my values and respect for the environment.
